Everything just seems to be falling into place with the photography this year with unexpected opotunities coming from all directions. I've been asked to be the photographer at 'Festival of Champions' near Preston 13th and 14th April, so need to get up to speed with on site printing. I've just bought a dye-sub printer and had a test print tonight, I've got to say the print quality is excellent! I've also been asked to be the photographer for Tescos 'Bonny Baby' compertition at Whitehaven Tesco in May and June ending up with Louis Walsh on the 22nd of June.
Even wedding fayres have came in out of the blue... Two this month... 24th April at Whitehaven Golf Club, and the following Sunday at the Folcon Club, Egremont. This is my busiest year for weddings, first one in Barrow in may.

This is my first wedding fair, so not sure what to expect. Went down on Saterday to set up my display. Pleased I did, I was first there so got the choice of where to put my display (apart from main room). I didnt want my stand to look the same as all the others, ie flip up or roller dispalies. I wanted to use real photos and show off different styles of canvases. All you see in this area are bog standard box canvases. I was showing curved and floating canvases. The day went well, and I met a lot of nice people although many were just there to get free entry to the castle.... and who could blame them, quight a place!
